Photos Uploaded from the App Not Showing on the Web

If a photo you uploaded from the app isn't visible on the web yet, it's still processing — this is normal and usually resolves within an hour.

Uploaded photos go through a backend reprocessing step before they appear on the web. During busy periods, this can take up to 60 minutes.

How to check the status

  1. Open the 27 Crags app on your phone.

  2. Go to Topo Sync.

  3. Check the pending uploads list.

    • If you see your photo listed — the upload is still in progress. Wait for it to complete, then check the web again.

    • If the list is empty and the photo is visible on your phone — the upload went through successfully. The web will update once processing is done (up to 1 hour).

Still having trouble?

If the photo hasn't appeared after an hour and the sync list is empty, contact us at support@thetopo.com and let us know which area or route the photo was uploaded to.
